Every year, fall brings crowds of visitors to our award winning winery and vineyard in North Garden, VA. This past September, guests had another reason to join us at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards.
PHF partnered with the magazine of the South, Garden & Gun, and Land Rover for an exquisite experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests joined us for an array of memorable afternoon activities to excite the senses. Our guests drove the latest Land Rovers on the back roads of Bundoran Farm and then headed back to the Hill for ”beagling” with the Waldingfield beagles, followed by vineyard and kitchen garden tours – with Napa-like views and remarkable cuisine – it was truly a five star experience.
After a full afternoon of activities, guests took their seats at farm tables on the Veranda, and prepared to indulge in a four course meal of some of the states finest cuisine paired with Pippin Hill’s custom crush wines. Chesapeake Bay crab and truffle tortellini paired with Chardonnay Reserve, Bundoran Farm’s Berkshire pig porchetta served with Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Virginia apple cobbler served with our Petit Manseng — just to name a few.
Our warmest gratitude goes out to the team at Garden & Gun for making the event possible, and of course, Pippin Hill’s owners Lynn Easton & Dean Andrews for opening up our venue for this unique experience.
